Born and raised in Irishtown-Summerside, Newfoundland and Labrador; Dr. Adam Blanchard graduated from the Memorial University Bachelor of Kinesiology program with Honors and the Academic Medal of Excellence. He then moved to Toronto to pursue his passion for chiropractic at Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. Dr. Adam has always been in pursuit of finding the best treatment techniques which led him to take contemporary medical acupuncture during his last year of chiropractic in the winter of 2023. Also, during his chiropractic education, he met his girlfriend, which ultimately led him to move to Peterborough to start his young career. Dr. Adam is currently employed at Thrive Health Ptbo and with Trent University as a Field practitioner providing medical coverage for varsity athletics. Dr. Adam has a diversified technique which includes chiropractic manipulations, mobilizations, soft tissue therapy, rehab, acupuncture, and education. Dr. Adam is also certified in FRC. Dr. Adam employs a patient-centered approach to health care and uses as many tools as possible to help individuals meet their health goals. Dr. Adam knows the importance of a healthy lifestyle and has been involved in sports and recreation all of his life. When he is not treating patients in the clinic or on the sideline you can find him snowmobiling and snowboarding in the winter and fly fishing in the summer.
