Physical Therapist
Kristin Bignell is a Registered Physical Therapist with a special interest in Neurofunctional Acupuncture and Sports Physiotherapy. After graduating from SUNY Buffalo with a Bachelor of Exercise Science, where she also played NCAA Division 1 Volleyball, she went on to complete her Master of Physical Therapy Degree at the University of Toronto. Kristin has completed both the Main Contemporary Medical Acupuncture and The Advanced Neurofunctional Sports Performance Practitioner Programs. She has also completed advanced training in manual therapy and is always striving to advance her knowledge of "the core" as it relates to rehab, injury prevention, and athletic performance. Kristin employs a wide range of clinical skills and experiences. Her ability to create a warm and welcoming environment for her clients is key in helping them reach their goals. Kristin's personal experience with movement includes volleyball, ballet, soccer, basketball, and swimming. She currently enjoys playing squash, skiing, cycling, running, and is always up for an outdoor adventure!
