Sandy is a Holistic Health Nurse with a background in Contemporary Medical Acupuncture and has also studied Traditional Chinese Acupuncture in the past. She has practiced not only mainstream medicine in nursing throughout her lifespan, from pediatrics to the elderly but also has a long history in holistic medicine, making her a Complementary Health Practitioner. She has been a Nurse Educator and has also been a facilitator for Stanford University's Chronic Pain Self-Management Program for many years and is a Diabetes Educator.
