Philip holds an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from York University. Originally from Athens, he competed in competitive hockey most of his life where he developed a keen interest in sports medicine. This interest led him to further his studies at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto where he graduated with a Doctor of Chiropractic with clinic honors in 2010.
While at York University he played five seasons for the men's varsity hockey team, was an Academic All-Canadian and an alternate captain. During his fourth year with the team Phil was selected to represent Canada at the 2005 Winter Universiade held in Innsbruck, Austria as a member of the Men's Hockey Team.
Years of experience in the sports world greatly influences Phil’s treatment style. He focuses on sports injuries and sport enhancement using a variety of techniques including: Active Release Technique (ART), Medical Acupuncture, Graston Technique, joint manipulations, and rehabilitation exercises.
