Yako Merogi, DC, is a Chiropractor with Sports Health team at Cleveland Clinic Canada. He is registered with the College of Chiropractors of Ontario and believes patient education is essential in providing effective treatment for his patients. Dr. Merogi is also committed to on-going learning and staying abreast of the latest innovations in chiropractic care.
Raised in Toronto, Dr. Merogi received an Honours Degree in Kinesiology and Health Science from York University and then moved stateside to receive his Doctor of Chiropractic from the New York Chiropractic College. He is certified to provide Active Release Technique (A.R.T.) therapies for the spine and upper and lower extremities as well as contemporary medical acupuncture. Dr. Merogi also utilizes joint mobilizations/manipulations and kinesiological taping as part of his treatments.
Dr. Merogi’s clinical area of focus includes manual therapy. Dr. Merogi enjoys working closely with patients to help them reduce pain, increase flexibility and improve their athletic performance. As a former athlete, Dr. Merogi understands the importance of Chiropractic care and the effect it can have on the overall strength of ones body. He believes that the natural approach to Chiropractic care can help people of all ages achieve optimum wellness, both physically and mentally.
In his spare time, Dr. Merogi enjoys spending time with family and friends and playing a variety of sports including soccer.
