Dan Wunderlich, DIPL. O.M., LAc is Founder and Clinic Director of Integrative Acupuncture & Bodywork in New York City, a holistic medical practice offering a unique blend of eastern and western approaches to treat orthopedic dysfunctions and internal medicine imbalances. In his practice, he integrates a wide variety of functional therapeutic modalities such as contemporary acupuncture, Chinese herbs, and Tui Na (a form of corrective soft-tissue therapy).


Dan is a Senior Clinical Preceptor in the Contemporary Acupuncture Program at McMaster University, a comprehensive, clinically-oriented training program which focuses on the integration of acupuncture and modern neurophysiological and neuroanatomical concepts. He has been part of an elite team of instructors selected to train U.S. Military doctors in the application of contemporary acupuncture methods used to treat wounded solders. He has also been an Instructor of Zheng Gu Tui Na, a complete system of Chinese medical massage integrating soft-tissue therapies and bone mobilizations.


Over the past four years, Dan has lead several teams of volunteer practitioners on humanitarian outreach projects delivering free, high quality healthcare to medically underserved communities in remote villages of Indonesia, Nepal and Guatemala. He has also worked in New York-based community outreach clinics providing treatments to war veterans and people living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHAs).
