I received my M.D. degree from Shanghai First Medical College, now affiliated with Fu Dan University, Shanghai, China, and the Certificate of Tuina (Chinese massage) from the Huatuo School, China Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Beijing, China. I have worked in both clinical and research settings for over 35 years, was a co-author on 25 scientific publications, and received a research fellow award at the 14th International GI Motility Symposium, Muskoka, ON, Canada.

I was a nephrologist in Zhongshan Hospital, Shanghai First Medical College, Shanghai, China. After immigrating to Canada, I worked in the biomedical science pain field at McMaster University. I have been studying various pains since working at McMaster’s Pain Institute meanwhile obtained the certificate for Contemporary Medical Acupuncture for Health Professionals, a 300 hours Continuing Education Health Science Program at McMaster University. I offers Acupuncture, Moxibustion, Cupping Massage and Acupressure treatments.
