Dr. Shaleen Somji graduated from The University of Western Ontario with an Honors Specialization in Political Science. Her interest in health, fitness, and wellness led her to Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, where she completed the 4-year Doctor of Chiropractic Degree. She is currently practicing at Stouffville Healthworks.
Dr. Somji uses scientific, evidence-based treatment methods including manipulation, mobilization, active release/muscle release therapy, acupuncture, Graston Technique®, manual trigger point therapy, taping, and a full range of modalities.
Dr. Somji provides a holistic approach to wellness and pain management. She aims to help all of her patients understand their condition and prevent deterioration or re-aggravation of symptoms.
Dr. Somji is a member of the Ontario Chiropractic Association, Canadian Chiropractic Association, and Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC).
Dr. Somji enjoys travelling the globe, running (she runs the Sporting Life 10k every year and has even run the Scotiabank Waterfront Toronto Half-Marathon!), playing sports, going to concerts in Toronto, and spending time with friends and family.
