Chiropractor (DC)

Dr. Romana Schmidt graduated with honours as a Doctor of Chiropractic from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto in June 2011. Prior to that, she completed a Bachelor of Science Degree in human anatomy and cell biology from McGill University in Montreal. She has a great passion and life-long interest in the human body and is a proponent of healthy lifestyle with a multi-disciplinary and evidenced-based approach for generating health and well-being.

Specialized training includes the completion of the Contempory Medical Acupuncture program from McMaster University, completion of Graston Technique® Basic Training, KT1/KT2 (Fundamental and Advanced Kinesio Taping), and F.A.P. (Functional Anatomic Palpation Systems) of the Upper Limb.

In her spare time, Dr. Schmidt enjoys leading a healthy and balanced lifestyle with good nutrition and exercise such as running, biking and snowboarding and relaxation through drawing, playing guitar, listening to music and the occasional travel when time permits.
