Dr. Vora pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology at York University and was also a CPT (Certified Personal Trainer) once she graduated. Her education in Kinesiology enabled her to work under a Chiropractor at a rehab clinic in Toronto helping people recover from various types of injuries. At the same time, she also worked as a personal trainer at the Blackcreek Community Health Center helping people with diabetes to better their health habits. Her experience working under a Chiropractor inspired her to pursue becoming a Doctor of Chiropractic.
As a recent graduate of the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC), Dr. Vora has undergone four years of rigorous training and education relating to the diagnosis and treatment of neuromusculoskeletal complaints. During her final year, she served patients at both the Campus Clinic and Sherbourne Community Health Center as a practicing intern. This experience exposed her to a wide variety of patients with unique health needs, which taught her to tailor her care to each individual case for optimal health outcomes. She has also completed two certificates: Smart Tools Level 1, and Contemporary Neurofunctional Medical Acupuncture.
Based on feedback that Dr. Vora received from patients at Blackcreek and her recent Chiropractic internship, she describes her greatest assets as being personable, empathetic and understanding of patients’ unique needs, her dedication to continual learning in order to serve her patients better, her ability to encourage her patients to take control of their care and achieve their health goals, in addition to her technical knowledge and skills relating to Chiropractic care.
