McMaster University Neurofunctional Acupuncture Program

Welcome to the ORIGINAL McMaster University Contemporary Medical Acupuncture Program, sponsored by the McMaster University Department of Anesthesia, and co-founded in 1998 by Dr. Angelica Fargas-Babjak and Dr. Alejandro Elorriaga Claraco.

The Contemporary Medical Acupuncture Program founders created this medical acupuncture training course on neurofunctional acupuncture and electroacupuncture as the first comprehensive medical acupuncture training course for health care professionals offered by a Medical University in Canada.

The Contemporary Medical Acupuncture Program is a 300 hours Certificate Program provided by the McMaster University Department of Anesthesia and approved by the McMaster Health Sciences Continuing Education Department.

How do health care professionals benefit from this program?
