Chiropractor (DC)
Dr. Adam Armstrong received his undergraduate education at the University of Acadia where he earned a Bachelor of Kinesiology in 2002 and a Bachelor of Education degree in 2004. He was also a member of the Acadia Varsity Hockey team from 1998-2003. During his time at Acadia, Adam also received the Citizenship Award which is given in recognition of one male and one female athlete who best illustrate great leadership and work ethic both on and off the campus. Adam was named to the RBC Academic All-Canadian Honour Roll during the 2001-2002 and 2002-2003 academic years. In 2003, He continued to pursue his education at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) and graduated as a Doctor of Chiropractic with Clinic Honours in 2009. In addition to his chiropractic training, Dr. Armstrong is also certified as an Active Release Technique (ARTS) provider in Spine, Upper Limb and Lower Limb. He also completed the Contemporary Medical Acupuncture course in 2009 at McMaster University.
Dr. Armstrong is a very active individual and believes that the sooner one gets involved in physical activity, the less likely it is that the problem with become chronic. He also enjoys sports such as golf, waterskiing, lacrosse, biking and swimming along with many other activities. Adam is presently the Assistant Coach for the Whitby Dunlop's Hockey Club.
