Dr. Carano graduated from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Science Degree and attended the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College and received her doctorate degree in 1997. Her other academic accomplishments include Clinical Medical Acupuncture and Traditional Acupuncture certificate from McMaster University and International University for Complimentary Medicines in 2007. Along with Diversified Manual Therapy, Dr. Carano also uses Activator Methods Technique, Cold Laser Therapy and Red/Infrared Light Therapy for soft tissue repair relating to acute and chronic pain, sports and motor vehicle accident injuries. Dr. Carano believes strongly in providing quality care for the entire family; from the very young to the very young at heart. She feels that patients of all ages can benefit from Chiropractic care and/or Acupuncture Therapy. Her approach and variety of gentle techniques are modified in order to accommodate to each patient's special needs. Dr. Carano also has a special interest in pregnancy and pediatric care and issues related to infertility which can be greatly helped with Acupuncture Therapy. Dr. Carano also has a special interest in Cosmetic Acupuncture for those men and women wanting to reduce the signs of aging...NATURALLY!
